“The Outlines of Sentiment”

In his ongoing new series, "The Outlines of Sentiment," artist Pakadomi explores the physical forms and structures of human emotions. Using mixed media sculptural paintings, he brings these emotions to life, giving them shape and dimension. Pakadomi constructs wooden frames filled with painted boards and surrounds them with molded polyurethane foam, resulting in striking three-dimensional emotional landscapes.

The title, "The Outlines of Sentiment," signifies how each artwork shapes, encapsulates, and defines an emotion, transforming abstract feelings into tangible forms. The shapes and lines of the foam sculptures imbue powerful emotions like longing, joy, angst, and love with palpable substance. As suggested by the collection's title, Pakadomi expertly maps the terrain and contours of our inner emotional worlds. Through his choice of materials, colors, and subjects, he breathes life into the ephemeral yet profound realm of human feeling and sentiment, making it accessible and evocative for all.
