I was born and raised in Haiti and enjoyed drawing at a very young age. I loved comic books and would try to replicate the drawings I saw. In my teenage years, I discovered computer graphics and developed a passion for graphic design. After getting my bachelor's degree in visual communication, I formed my own company and this led to a 15+ year career in the world of design and advertising.
Starting in 2014, I felt an urge to start drawing and painting again. I wanted to make things with my hands and this led to Pakadomi.
The artwork I create uses bold lines, vibrant colors and simple geometric shapes. In my pieces, I attempt to analyse and break down the complexity of the world around me and express it in it's simplest form. My work explores themes such as Haitian culture, education, design, philosophy and technology.
I hope you enjoy !
